Euro-VO Research Initiative
The EURO-VO project is soliciting proposals from teams aiming at carrying out astronomical projects
driven by the Virtual Observatory concept, and making use of the Virtual Observatory tools and applications.
The successful groups will receive support from EURO-VO astronomers to complete their projects by December 2007.

Faulty DVDs
Several DVDs distributed between mid-September and 9 November 2005 were created using DVD blanks which were found to be faulty. For more details, including the description of the way to identify the suspect DVDs, please follow

MASCOT data available
The data from the Mini All-Sky Cloud Observation Tool (MASCOT) on Paranal - a small CCD camera behind a fish-eye objective, which takes all-sky exposures every few minutes - are now available from the ESO Archive. They can be accessed through the
VLT generic query form.
